Furniture Frame Builder / Wood Frame Assembler
Marshfield Furniture is looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to assemble wooden furniture frames before they move into upholstery. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in carpentry, woodworking, construction, cabinet making, manufacturing, or working with hand and air-powered tools.
In this role, you will fit wooden frame parts together, fasten components using large pneumatic staple guns and other tools, and help build the foundation of high-quality upholstered furniture.
Schedule
All shifts start at 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble wooden furniture frames before upholstery
- Fit wood frame parts together according to production specifications
- Fasten frame components using pneumatic staple guns, nail guns, mallets, and other hand tools
- Read and follow specification tickets for each furniture piece
- Check frame parts for proper fit, alignment, and quality
- Apply cardboard, padding, or other materials to frame areas as needed
- Use templates or guides to complete frame preparation
- Make minor adjustments during the assembly process to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work safely and efficiently in a team environment
- Interact in a positive and respectful manner with other team members
Qualifications
- Carpentry, woodworking, construction, cabinet making, furniture building, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools, air staple guns, nail guns, or other pneumatic tools preferred
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production tickets
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
- Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Basic reading and writing comprehension
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to read, understand, and speak English for safety and work instruction purposes
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test with negative results
- Must complete the designated length of service to receive the sign-on bonus
