Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking prep/kitchen support to join our culinary team. This dual-role position is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our kitchen operations while ensuring that our guests enjoy high-quality meals. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet and catering events, ensuring all food service needs are met.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.

Skills

• Experience in food service or catering is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly in cleaning tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
