What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rackline Assembler position at Eaton?
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Rackline Assembler. This position is based at our Emerald Road facility in Greenwood, SC.
The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You’ll Do
The Assembly Technician must maintain proficiency in all positions on the assigned product line, including but not limited to assembly, wiring, functional testing, blueprint interpretation, computer use, and 5S activities within the rack line. This role requires close collaboration with team members, the Job Setter, and the Group Leader to sustain efficient workflow and production goals. The Assembly Technician I must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of job functions as needed.

- Read and follow production drawings and shop work orders, including bills of material.
- Adhere to all departmental quality standards and safety procedures.
- Assemble and wire units using a variety of tools, including but not limited to air tools, nail guns, torque wrenches, tape measures, wire cutters, lifting devices, saws, computers, and drill/driver tools. Additional tools may be required to complete assembly and testing activities.
- Operate all equipment safely and perform required daily equipment inspections.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

- Relocation is not offered for this position. Candidates must live within a 50 radius of the Greenwood, SC facility.
