The summer intern will support the department by assisting with tasks such as:
- Partnering with team members to develop solutions for process, product, or operational challenges.
- Supporting the planning, justification, and implementation of new concepts, equipment, tools, processes, or systems.
- Collaborating with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to apply continuous improvement and efficiency concepts.
- Researching and evaluating new technologies or process improvements and assessing their potential business impact.
- Supporting training and development activities—including gathering data, validating results, preparing reports, and presenting findings.
- Completing additional duties or project assignments as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above (Please do not round).
- Must be able to work in Arden, NC full-time for the duration of the internship

- Prior internship experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
