Machine Operator- 3rd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator- 3rd Shift at our Reno, NV facility! The core hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is 22.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

In this function, you will:

• Proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines
• Six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
• Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
  
  
  

Position Success Criteria

• Able to operate machinery and presses safely
• Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
• Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
• Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
• Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
• Able to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
