Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator (1st Shift) - Presses at our Reno, NV facility! The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 per hour.
CORE HOURS: 5:45AM to 2:15PM. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What You’ll Do
- Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses.
- Troubleshoot various machinery problems.
- Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders.
- Quality control and document all parts run on machines.
- Retrieve and enter data into SAP.
- Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production.
- Maintain a clean work area and tend to other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:

- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints.
- Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
- Ability to operate machinery and presses safely.
- Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.
- Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material
- Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
- Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift with or without reasonable accommodations
- Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis with or without reasonable accommodations
- Able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
- Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open.
- Fast-paced working, while maintaining safety priorities.
