What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler I - 2nd Shift position at Eaton?
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler I - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 2:15pm to 10:45pm. The hourly rate for this position is 19.82 per hour.

What you’ll do:
- Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
- May use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices.
- Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams.
- Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
- Keeps work areas clean and safe.

Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:
o Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office
areas.
o Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits,
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are
deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
o Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout
the facility, department, and area of responsibility. - Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of
Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the

- Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and
procedure.
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
- Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance.
- Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas).
- Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
- Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents
