Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Assembler - 1st shift to join our team.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.
The core hours are: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

What You’ll Do
The primary function of the Assembler, is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. Pack and prepare product for shipping.

What You’ll Do

In This Function You Will
- Build/Wire Main Breaker Units
- Full Mechanical Assembly of the overall structure, build/wire doors and electrical devices, build/install copper, and complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship.
- Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
- Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
- Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
- Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand
- Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to escalate production issues immediately
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
- Perform all other tasks as required
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

- No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 - miles of the Arden, NC facility
- Mechanical/Electrical experience
- Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
- Proven history of safe work habits
- Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
- Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
