Fabricator/Welder/Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Fabricator/Welder/Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components using various welding techniques
• Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
• Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, suspensions, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and other vehicle components.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for disassembly, repair, alignment, and assembly of machinery parts.
• Perform tire service, heavy lifting tasks safely with appropriate equipment, and ensure proper vehicle maintenance practices are followed.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a mechanic or service technician in a dealership or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong background in fabrication and welding with familiarity in working with schematics for complex machinery.
• Knowledge of automotive repair including brake repair, transmission work, electrical diagnostics, and suspension systems.
• Familiarity with diesel engine repair techniques and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately to facilitate precise repairs.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
