Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Technician IV - 2nd Shift at our Reno, NV location!
The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.17 per hour $0.50 per hour shift premium.

What you’ll do:
In this function, you will:
- Operate assigned machines/presses
- Troubleshoot various machinery problems
- Perform coil changes
- QC and document all parts run on machines
- Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
- Verify inventory of components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
- A minimum of 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
Skills:
- Able to operate machinery and presses safely
- Able to read and accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
- Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
- Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision
Additional Information:
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while roll-up doors are open
- Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
