Position Summary
Easyflex Texas, Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to manage domestic and international transportation, customs clearance, shipment tracking, carrier coordination, freight costs, and delivery-related issues.
This position will work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Customer Service, warehouse personnel, and business teams in Korea to ensure that shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments
- Manage LTL, FTL, parcel, ocean, air, and expedited shipments
- Coordinate import shipments and customs clearance
- Work with freight carriers, freight brokers, and customs brokers
- Review shipping and import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Track shipments from pickup through final delivery
- Provide timely shipment updates to internal departments and customers
- Coordinate stock transfers between company locations
- Obtain and compare freight quotes
- Review freight charges, customs duties, tariffs, and related fees
- Resolve shipment delays, shortages, damages, and delivery discrepancies
- Handle freight claims and follow up with carriers and brokers
- Maintain accurate logistics, shipping, and import records
- Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery performance
- Coordinate logistics requirements with internal departments, external partners, and business teams in Korea
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in logistics, transportation, import operations, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience managing domestic and international shipments
- Experience working with freight carriers, freight brokers, and customs brokers
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and import documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general business systems
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Denton, Texas
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Korean language proficiency is preferred due to frequent business communication with teams and partners in Korea
- Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system
- Experience handling freight claims and carrier disputes
- Experience reviewing freight costs, customs duties, and tariffs
- Experience in wholesale distribution, manufacturing, plumbing, HVAC, construction materials, or industrial products
