Easy Young is growing into a modern Asian cafe featuring bowls, bagels, specialty drinks, and savory comfort plates. We’re looking for a dependable line cook to help support our expanding breakfast and dinner menu.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail
- Work hot line, fryer, prep, and plating during service
- Help with food prep, portioning, and station setup
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout shifts
- Support kitchen operations and communicate effectively with the team
- Help keep ticket times efficient during busy periods
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Prior line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
Position Details:
- Part-time to start with opportunity for more hours as we expand service
- Approximately 20-30 hours/week initially
- Hourly pay: $19-21/hr depending on experience
- We operate on a no-tipping model with straightforward hourly pay
