We are looking for a full time, Veterinary Assistant to come join our team!
We are a 3.5 doctor practice helping our community care for their companion animals. We are proud of the medicine that we practice, and just as proud of our team that makes it possible. Out hospital offers a wide variety of cases and services. This includes anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, ultrasound, radiology and more. We're looking for a Veterinary Assistant that wants to grow their knowledge and skill set with hands-on work in veterinary medicine. We do offer on the job training.
Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, option for occasional weekend treatment coverage.
What Our Veterinary Assistants Do
- Safely restrain/handle our small animal patients
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines and treatments as directed
- Prepare patients and equipment for surgical procedures
- Assist with diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, laser therapy and other services
- Provide attentive nursing care to patients
- Provide clear client communication
- Accurately document patient care, treatments and client communication in the medical records

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
