— QUALIFICATIONS —
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of high school education or GED.
- Preferred minimum of two years of work experience as a caregiver (including private care, homecare agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, etc.)
- Must display good emotional health and be able to perform basic physical actions required for caregiving, such as standing, bending, stooping, etc.
- Must be able to read, follow written and verbal instructions, and document all care given.
- Must have at least two (2) references from previous employers (not family members).
- Must meet all agency requirements, including but not limited to passing a criminal background check, and social security number verification.
- We are hiring for someone available to work Monday through Friday during the hours of 7am - 5pm, looking for quality part time and full time employees, we can create a flexible schedule to meet both our needs.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
We like to have fun at Eastside Riders -- we're currently seeking the right Skills Trainer/Caregiver with A FUN PERSONALITY to join our crew on outings in the community. Are you the one?
· Maintains confidentiality regarding the participants and any family/caregivers.
· Meets the safety needs of the participants and uses equipment safely and properly.
· Assist participants in all activities of daily living/hygiene assistance.
· Maintain knowledge of diet and allergies.
· Assist participants with feeding supports.
· Ability and willingness to perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
· Document and update records accurately.
· Ability to lead activities individually and in large group settings with a positive and engaging attitude.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience
