Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Coordination
- Organize and manage schedules for patients, providers, and staff.
- Communicate and confirm appointments, minimizing conflicts and optimizing efficiency.
- Patient and Provider Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients and providers, addressing inquiries with excellent customer service and professionalism.
- Coordinate services to ensure timely and seamless patient care delivery.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Management
- Utilize EMR systems for data entry, record management, and appointment tracking.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Insurance Coordination
- Handle insurance-related tasks, including knowledge of Medicare, private payers, auto insurance, and Labor & Industries (L&I).
- Verify insurance coverage, assist with authorizations, and ensure compliance with payer requirements.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and maintain patient records, reports, and other documentation as required.
- Manage communications, including drafting emails and follow-ups with patients and staff.
- Technology Utilization
- Leverage technology to streamline operations, including video conferencing, scheduling software, and other virtual tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Problem-Solving and Multi-Tasking
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, insurance discrepancies, and patient concerns effectively and professionally.
- Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 - 4 years in the medical and healthcare industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and advanced technology skills, including scheduling software and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Medicare, private payers, auto insurance, and Labor & Industries regulations.
- Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
