Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00/hour
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (various midweek and weekend options available)

About the Role
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is currently hiring dependable Machine Operators for the Wind-Up Department at a leading manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating wind-up machines, managing plastic materials, and ensuring final product quality. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow and upholding safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
*
Operate turning machines (wind-up equipment) to process plastic materials
*
Verify proper layer counts on each finished roll
*
Stamp and label cores legibly and accurately
*
Weigh and stack completed rolls into designated containers
*
Monitor containers (Gaylords) for fullness and manage replacements
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
*
Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
*
Support team and leadership with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
*
High school diploma or GED required
*
0–2 years of machine operation or general manufacturing experience preferred
*
Comfortable working with production tools including box cutters and other sharp instruments
*
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet throughout the shift
*
Must be able to wear all required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, hair nets) while on the production floor
*
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail are essential
Work Environment

Indoor, climate-controlled production facility
*
Exposure to moving machinery, vibration, dust, noise, and standard manufacturing chemicals
*
Standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive tasks required throughout shift
