Eastridge Nursing & Rehab, a person-centered, long-term care community in Abbeville, LA is currently seeking an energetic Cook. One year experience preferable in institutional food preparation or related field. Has appropriate health certificate as required by local, state and federal health departments.

Summary
The Cook performs a variety of tasks including maintenance of kitchen sanitation, food preparation and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
1. Follows menu and recipes to prepare foods.
2. Must sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas as assigned.
3. Has the ability to work well with co-workers.
4. Prepare beverages and snacks for meal service and snack distribution.
5. Assists in dishwashing operation.
6. Performs other tasks as assigned.
7. Attends in services and training programs as scheduled.
