What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Shop Coordinator position at Eastown Distributors Company?
Eastown Distributors is a beer distributor that services all of Detroit and some of Downriver areas with our office being located in Highland Park. We have a wide variety of brands and styles of beer from suppliers such as Molson Coors, Heineken USA, Constellation Brands, etc. We are looking for people that want to learn more about the wholesale and beer industry and help us be our vendors best consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, producing, and distributing both print and digital signage requests to the sales team.
- Designing and producing in-house signage needs
- Using and maintaining digital asset libraries
- Maintaining sign shop equipment (large-format printer, small-format printer, laminator)
- Tracking and reporting monthly sign costs by supply usage
- Maintaining and keeping inventory of all POS items and sign supplies
- Ordering supplies and business cards
- Receiving and distributing packages from FedEx and UPS.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Staying aware of and following all brand guidelines and licensing laws.
- Planning, creating, and posting 2 relevant social media posts per week to company social media
- Supervising part-time sign shop employee
Requirements:
- Work 40 hours per week
- Must have one year or more in experience
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be capable of driving a forklift (training/certification is provided)
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be familiar with design programs (Corel or Adobe Illustrator/InDesign)
- Must be familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite)
- Must work well with little or no supervision
- Must be deadline oriented
- Must have great communication skills
