Available Positions OAHS Marching Band Director OAHS Marching Band Music Advisor Assistant OAHS Marching Band Marching & Maneuvering Instructor Position Descriptions OAHS Marching Band Director Responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the Oliver Ames High School Marching Band program. Duties include planning and conducting rehearsals, selecting and preparing musical repertoire, coordinating performances and competitions, supervising staff and students, and ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. OAHS Marching Band Music Advisor Assistant Supports the Marching Band Director in all musical aspects of the program. Responsibilities include assisting with music instruction during rehearsals, providing sectional support, helping prepare students for performances, and contributing to the overall musical development of the ensemble. OAHS Marching Band Marching & Maneuvering Instructor Provides instruction in marching fundamentals, visual technique, and field maneuvering. Works collaboratively with the Director to teach drill, reinforce visual consistency, and support student skill development throughout rehearsals and performances.
