The following opportunity is available with the Easton Area School District.

Computer Technician - Help Desk (2 Positions)

Full-time

12 Month Position

Districtwide

This full-time position will be filled on or around October 22, 2026. Salary commensurate with the Act 93 Compensation Plan. The selected candidate shall be chosen based on credentials, the ability to demonstrate job functions and the successful completion of a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements.

SUMMARY: Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer

systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, isolates problem, determines and implements

solutions, or escalates to senior technicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming Help Desk tickets.
• Resolve printer and printing issues, or escalate repairs to Print Management Vendor.
• Distribute printer cartridges and toner.
• Install new software programs.
• Maintain systems through software updates.
• Provide hardware and software support for interactive projectors and other projection devices.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of copier scanning and faxing.
• Provide assistance in resolving student ipad issues.
• Recognize and escalate more difficult problems to senior technicians.
• Assist other technology team members as needed.
• Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor of Information

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic skills in desktop operating systems including Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.
• Ability to perform basic technology maintenance tasks.
• Self-motivated individual able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.
