This is a full-time, on-site role for the Director of Kids Ministry, located in Mulvane, KS. The Director of Kids Ministry will oversee and lead Eastminster Church’s programs for children, providing spiritual guidance and fostering a nurturing environment for growth in faith. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and executing engaging Bible-based programs, leading discipleship initiatives, and supporting spiritual direction for children and their families. The Director will also collaborate with church staff, volunteers, and families to create a cohesive and impactful ministry.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage with children, families, staff, and volunteers
- Experience in youth ministry and a passion for working with children and families
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Bible and the ability to incorporate its teachings into children’s programs
- Skills in providing spiritual direction and guiding children in discipleship and faith formation
- Proven leadership and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate within a team and foster positive relationships within a community
- A Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in church or ministry leadership roles is an advantage
