Assembly Technician, Disability Required
Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. We are looking to hire several part-time 20 hour HVAC Assembly Technicians to work in a factory setting in the York area. The rate of pay is $16.70 per hour and the position comes with 403b opportunity and the Employee Assistance Program.
QUALIFICATIONS-Lead Assembly Technician
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous experience in dealing with the work on an assembly line or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Be physically able to do the job
- Positive attitude
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check completed by Easterseals required.
- Acceptable FBI Clearance required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Assembly Technician
- Efficiently Assemble Quality Air Filters
- Keep count of production numbers to not over, or, under work order quantity
- Reject poor quality materials / components, do not allow them to pass into Assembly
- Attend to Feeder change-over duties
- Maintain and keep line equipment clean
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS
- Standing through all work hours.
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require.
- Working in high noise levels that require hearing protection.
- Working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints.
BENEFITS
The position is part time 20 hours daylight at the rate of $16.70 an hour with occasional overtime. Eligibility for the 403b plan and Employee Assistance Plan is included.
