Description
Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. We are looking to hire one full-time 40 hour HVAC Lead Assembly Technician to work in a factory setting in the York area. The rate of pay is $17.80 per hour and comes with medical, dental, vision, 403b opportunity and more.
JOB SUMMARY
As the Lead Assembly Technician, the employee is the on-site supervisor for the other assembly technicians who helps handle the day-to-day operations. The Lead Assembly Tech is responsible for working with the other Assembly staff on the assembly line to efficiently and professionally assemble air filters. Successful Assembly Techs work well in a team setting, take feedback & direction, have consistent attendance, enjoy following a set process without cutting corners, and take accountability for their results.
QUALIFICATIONS-Lead Assembly Technician
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous experience in dealing with the work on an assembly line or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Be physically able to do the job
- Positive attitude
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check completed by Easterseals required.
- Acceptable FBI Clearance required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Assembly Technician
- Efficiently Assemble Quality Air Filters
- Keep count of production numbers to not over, or, under work order quantity
- Reject poor quality materials / components, do not allow them to pass into Assembly
- Attend to Feeder change-over duties
- Maintain and keep line equipment clean
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS
- Standing through all work hours.
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require.
- Working in high noise levels that require hearing protection.
- Working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints.
BENEFITS
The position is full time 40 hours daylight with he rate of $17.80 an hour. A full benefit package comes with this valued at 6K.
