Easterseals NH is looking for a Special Education Teacher. The Gammon Academy is a great place to make a difference in the lives of youth. We help individuals, 8-21 years of age learn social skills, succeed in school, and enjoy recreational experiences. Student populations range from students with Autism and other neurobehavioral challenges to students with mild cognitive impairments and students with social/emotional disabilities.
Our students volunteer in the community and our staff give them many rich learning experiences. Come join the Easterseals NH team as a Special Education Teacher!
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree with Certification in Special Education OR have passed the praxis with a letter of eligibility for Special Education.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Hours: This is a year-round, full-time position.
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 annually, based upon qualifications, certifications and education
Sign-On Bonus: To be paid over your first 6 months.

Responsibilities
- Implement classroom programming to meet the educational, social and vocational needs of students with disabilities.
- Design a classroom environment that is motivating and stimulating.
- Lesson planning and implementation
- Supervise Paraprofessionals
- Gather and report data on student progress.
