Job Objective: Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Corporate Strategic Partnerships develops and executes strategies to grow corporate and foundation support, with a focus on significantly increasing unrestricted funding for Easterseals NH & VT. This role requires a strategic, forward thinking, relationship-driven fundraiser with strong communication skills and a solid background in corporate and foundation giving. In addition to meeting short-term goals, the Director plays a key role in aligning institutional funding with the organization’s long-term financial priorities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in non-profit fundraising
- Proven track record of closing five to six (5–6) figure corporate gifts
- Three to five (3-5) years of demonstrated experience and measurable contributions in major gift solicitation, stewardship and relationship management
- Prior experience working in the corporate sector and securing major gifts is a plus
- Proficient in CRM (Raisers Edge preferred) and MS Office products
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player who will productively engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Requires flexibility of schedule to accommodate the needs of the organization that may include nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with corporate partners to generate both monetary and in-kind support.
- Research, identify, cultivate, and steward corporate and foundation partnerships in collaboration with the Development and Grants teams.
- Manage a portfolio of current and prospective high-capacity corporate and foundation funders.
- Build long-term, values-driven partnerships that drive results through compelling storytelling and alignment with ESNH’s priorities.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of partners both regionally and across the US, by using the organization’s CRM system.
- Create KPIs, dashboards and ongoing reporting to be presented to the ELT, Development Committee and Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.
- Design and implement cultivation strategies to convert single-year gifts into multi-year commitments, including renewal plans and a strong prospect pipeline.
- Oversee corporate communication strategies, including emails, proposals, reports, and stewardship materials.
- Track and deliver partner benefits associated with their philanthropic investment in ESNH & VT.
- Collaborate with program staff to craft compelling cases for support and align funding opportunities with institutional interests.
