What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residence Unit Manager position at Easterseals NH?
Job Description:
EastersealsNH has an immediate opening for a Unit Manager in our Residential Educational Program. In this position you will oversee all units and staff by working closely with the Unit Supervisors, Directors and other staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Manage all crisis situations including, fire alarms, police involvement with clients,
- Manage all family contacts regarding complaints and concerns.
- Communicate daily information to each education setting for all clients, including
- Collaborate with the clinical team to implement treatment in the residential program.
- Be responsible for the implementation of the activity/group schedule for the
- Prepare and maintain reports, ensuring compliance according to the requirements of the program.
- Supervise staff as assigned.
- Provide input concerning written supervision and assist supervisors in addressing
- Work flexible direct care hours (in ratio), collaborating with the Director
- Be responsive to calls outside of scheduled work hours.
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the building.
Qualifications:
You must have an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. You must also have 4 years of experience working with the targeted population, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: Starting at $28 per hour.
Hours: Full Time, rotating schedule.
