Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide range of screening and diagnostic tests relative to communicative functioning specific to the areas of receptive language, expressive language, articulation, fluency and voice.
- Evaluates and diagnoses speech disorders through interviews, observation and other methods.
- Develops speech and language goals/objectives for individuals, supervises implementation of goals/objectives, conducts periodic reviews of goals/objectives, and makes necessary changes.
- Develops and implements therapeutic intervention strategies relative to communication dysfunction.
- Analyzes and interprets progress related to goals and objectives, prepares progress reports, and adjusts goals as appropriate. Instructs children in compensatory skills with augmentative and alternative communication.
Salary : $125
