What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatrist - Child position at Easterseals MORC Logo?
PEasterseals MORC is seeking Full Time OR Part Time Child Psychiatrists to join our Team rovides psychiatric and medical services to children and/or adults served by programs of Easterseals. Performs biological and psycho-social assessments including psychiatric evaluation, annual psychiatric assessment, physical assessment, and referral. Makes diagnoses and develops recommendations regarding treatment. Provides for the review and monitoring of consumer medication plans. Ensures wellness measures are taken including blood pressure, height, weight, etc. is taken at each Medication Review. Provides crisis evaluation of children and/or adults who may be in need of hospitalization or who may need medication to avoid hospitalization. Provides certification for the involuntary commitment and hospitalization of adult mental health consumers. Assists with clinical supervision and consultation to clinical staff for quality, efficient and cost effective coordination of treatment, continuing care, and support services. Participates in court proceedings to provide testimony regarding mental health of consumers as needed.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
