Easterseals is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to provide support and guidance in the community to Adult individuals with intellectual disabilities in individual or group activities. This role is responsible for planning and implementing a daily schedule of participation to include employment and community activities. There may be times where you work with our participants to complete the given task. As you build relationships with the people you support, you will share in the joy that they experience when learning a new skill that promotes independence in everyday life.
Qualifications:
•Must have compassion for others and the desire to support adults with disabilities
•Must be able to work 30 hours/weekly - M-F (5:30AM to 11:30AM)
•Must be at least 21-years of age to drive company vehicles
•Driving record in good standing
•Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time to support adults in a community setting
•Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs freely, without restrictions
•Experience supporting individuals with disabilities in a community setting
•Experience providing support to Adult individuals with disabilities
Preferred Skills:
•Associates Degree in Human Services
•Case management experience
•Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
