The organization provides a wide range of disability services and programs tailored to the individual needs of children, adults, seniors, and families.
Role Description Speech Language Pathologist is a full-time, part-time, or PRN role based in Montgomery, Alabama, providing evaluation and treatment for individuals with communication and swallowing needs.
Speech-Language Pathologists:
- Asses the severity of communication or swallowing disorders
- Develop an individualize treatment plan based on patient's needs
- Provide direct therapy to patients
- Maintain detailed records of patient's progress, treatment plans, and session notes
- Provide support and education to patients and families on communication and swallowing disorders
- Work with other occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Those needing a clinical fellowship placement welcome to apply
- State license for a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experienced working with children and adolescents
