Experienced cabinet maker

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and restoring custom cabinetry and woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinets, furniture, and wood fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks such as door hanging, molding installation, and finishing touches to enhance project aesthetics.
• Conduct restoration work including water damage repair, mold remediation, and historic woodwork refurbishment.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met and projects stay on schedule.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assist in project planning and material procurement.
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cabinet maker or in a related carpentry role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to cabinetry and woodworking projects.
• Familiarity with construction estimating, framing carpentry, rebar installation, drywall finishing (plastering/stucco), roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing, masonry, siding, metal stud framing, concrete forming, water damage restoration, mold remediation and other restoration industry practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various construction environments.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including the use of caulking tools, fixture installation techniques, drywall repair methods, and general handyman skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
