GENERAL JOB SUMMARY
The dietary aide performs various designated work and cleaning routines within the Dietary Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with facility’s personnel, safety and corporate policies and procedures.
- Comply with Nursing Department’s policies and procedures.
- Report witnessed allegations of resident abuse and/or neglect.
- Treat residents, family members, visitors and team members with dignity and respect.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
- Maintain electronic and/or written records without omitting or falsify information.
- Ability to use and/or learn how to use in a proficient manner approved electronic devices that are used for documentation and/or recording keeping.
- Will have active participation in QAPI including but not limited to meetings, implementation and continued development.
- Report to work on time and as scheduled.
- May function in any of the following positions: tray person, dining room waitress, dietary helper I or II, dish room.
- Responsible for cleanliness of work area.
- Assist in loading carts and serving meals.
- Follow safety codes while performing all duties.
- Follow defined infection control procedures.
- Dining room setup and cleanup.
- Wash and store dishes within state regulations
- Provide assistance to cook in the preparation and service of meals.
- Attentive to residents and guests needs.
- Conducts self in a respectable manner at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
