Duties
- Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing direct patient care and monitoring vital signs.
- Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical operations.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, recovery processes, and potential complications.
- Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
