Assistant Regional Manager
Location: Based in Vineland, NJ, with regular travel to assigned EPAC properties throughout South Jersey.

EPAC Management is a family-owned organization specializing in affordable housing, senior living, and community redevelopment throughout New Jersey. Our experienced property management team oversees nearly 1,000 residential units and works closely with the communities it serves. We combine hands-on local leadership with decades of experience in operating high-quality multifamily and senior housing.
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Assistant Regional Manager to report directly to senior leadership and help oversee EPAC's South Jersey portfolio of multifamily and independent senior rental communities. This role leads and supports property management teams across multiple sites, with a strong focus on occupancy, receivables, compliance, resident service, and operational consistency. The ideal candidate is a confident people leader who can move comfortably between portfolio-level planning and hands-on problem-solving at individual communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the oversight of daily operations across multiple residential communities.
- Lead, coach, and hold property managers and site teams accountable for performance and service standards.
- Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, receivables, collections, and other key property performance indicators.
- Develop and implement practical strategies that support portfolio and organizational goals.
- Conduct regular property visits and work with site teams to identify needs, resolve issues, and improve results.
- Promote consistent operating procedures, resident service, documentation, and communication across all locations.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that improve workflows, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support the professional development of site employees.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, affordable-housing requirements, applicable regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare updates for senior leadership and escalate significant operational, staffing, compliance, or resident concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven residential property management experience, preferably within multifamily, affordable housing, or senior housing.
- Experience supervising property managers or teams across multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of occupancy management, rent collections, receivables, resident relations, and property operations.
- Demonstrated ability to coach employees, improve performance, and build an accountable, positive team culture.
- Strong strategic planning, project management, and process-improvement skills.
- Working knowledge of fair housing and relevant state, federal, and local property management regulations.
- Excellent judgment, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel regularly among properties throughout South Jersey.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for regular travel among assigned properties. Approved business mileage is reimbursed in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional property management education or industry credentials are preferred.
Pay and Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 employment.
- Pay: $48,000 - $51,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
