Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on marine vessels and equipment, including electrical systems, rigging.
- Install new marine systems and components following detailed schematics and technical drawings.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, welding and soldering irons, and fabrication techniques to complete projects efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs, installations, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar marine repair role with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, welding, sheet metal work, and fabrication processes.
- Experience with rigging, assembly work, and the use of hand tools and power tools required for marine applications.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices applicable to marine vessels or related equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Additional skills such as sales experience or familiarity with maintenance management are advantageous but not required.
