- Teaching undergraduate courses, providing research assistance to faculty, providing departmental library or instructional support, and/or assisting in departmental operations as assigned by the Graduate Coordinator of the program
- Admitted into graduate school and enrolled in 9 hours of graduate coursework (fewer hours required for partial GA)
- Must maintain a graduate GPA of at least a 3.0
- Sufficient undergraduate background to carry out the duties as assigned by the department
- Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
- Work cooperatively with faculty, students and staffPhysical Working Demand:
- Graduate positions vary in length from 1-2 semesters and hours 9-18 per week. Some summer positions are available for 9 hours a week for four weeks at a time.
- Depending on work type, work is sedentary to moderate in nature that at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise more objects.Condition of Employment: Must pass a pre-employment background check.
