We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team. This position is hybrid and is based out of Fort Washington, PA. You will be expected to work at HQ on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remotely on Monday and Friday.
The selected candidate will assemble, review, code, verify and enter inventory invoices and check requests against purchase orders.
The AP Specialist will provide exceptional customer service to various vendors and store field staff along with answering account questions and regularly reviewing and reconciling vendor statements.
The selected candidate will also follow policies and procedures to ensure record retention compliance and confidentiality of organizational information
The AP Specialist will be a key member of the accounting team so we’re looking for someone who is organized, customer service oriented, and thrives on challenge.
Education, Experience, Abilities or Knowledge:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable processing.
- Proficient in Bill Capture Software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Office 365 and related programs.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
- Problem solving ability.
- Knowledge of record retention requirements for accounting records.
