Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DOT Box Truck Driver / Crew Leader. THIS IS NOT A DRIVING ONLY POSITION. The Driver MUST be a part of the moving crew and have at least 5 years of experience working for another moving company (not helping your friend move) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and assisting a team in various tasks, ensuring efficiency and safety while maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with moving household goods (will offer training to right candidate)
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the crew to ensure smooth operations.
- Must be a motivated team player
- Manage the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customer and crew
- Assist with moving products within the home, including heavy lifting tasks.
- Ensure that all deliveries are conducted safely and on time, including driving box trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational needs and challenges.
Experience
- Previous experience in the moving industry is required.
- Proven ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high morale.
- Familiarity with packing / loading and delivery of household goods is essential.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks is required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and operations.
