Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing to plan and execute athletics marketing campaigns for fan attendance and community engagement.
- Develop and lead all marketing, fan engagement, and game production for assigned sports.
- Act as secondary on-field marketing coordinator for all Eastern Football games.
- Coordinate the administration and management of Swoop’s Jr. Eagles Kids Club.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Marketing to assist the Eagle Nation student fan group in promoting home athletic events.
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns related to email, social media, and digital advertising.
- Assist with management of the Athletics Marketing Student Internship program.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Adhere to any and all NCAA, Mid-American Conference, and Eastern Michigan University policies, rules, regulations, and operational procedures.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Kinesiology, Communications, Business, or a related field is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high energy, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community are required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, is required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently is required.
- Understanding and working ability with the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Previous experience with a sports organization is encouraged.
