Credit Representative - Lake Worth, FL

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Credit Representative to analyze customer credit history, manage accounts, and collect payments in accordance with company Credit Policy. This role requires strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts and ensure adherence to Credit Policy guidelines

• Monitor cash receivables and build relationships with credit-worthy customers

• Collect balances within established terms

• Communicate with sales teams regarding credit decisions, delinquencies, and account holds

• Make collection calls to past-due customers

• Manage aging reports and resolve open receivables

• Address customer questions and resolve billing/invoicing discrepancies

• Review accounts regularly with the Credit Manager

• Research and clear credit holds

• Draft professional email correspondence and make informed credit decisions

• Assist with new account setup and establishing credit limits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college or related coursework preferred

• 5 years of credit/collections experience

• Ability to read and interpret credit reports and financial information

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Strong negotiation skills and a high level of professionalism

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management
