- Transportation: Assist with the safe and timely transport of residents within the facility, including to and from appointments, activities, or dining areas.
- Cleaning & Sanitizing: Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and designated resident areas by following proper sanitation procedures.
- Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste according to health and safety regulations.
- Laundry Support: Assist in the collection, delivery, and organization of linens and residents' laundry as required.
- Restocking: Monitor and restock essential supplies such as soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, and towels in resident and staff areas.
- Maintenance Support: Assist with light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, minor repairs, or reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow infection control procedures, health and safety policies, and emergency protocols at all times.
- Assist with Special Events: Help set up rooms for special events, activities, and family visits, ensuring they are safe and comfortable for attendees.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or similar role is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
- A compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly residents. Physical and Sensory Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and data on a computer screen and communicate effectively with employees and other stakeholders.
