Description
Eastern Greene Middle School is seeking a dedicated and student-focused 6th Grade Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the academic growth of all students by delivering engaging, standards-based instruction and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
This position plays an important role within both the 6th Grade Team and the Math Department, with a focus on maintaining high expectations and continuing to grow programming that meets the needs of all learners.
Qualifications
- Appropriate Indiana teaching licensure required
- Experience and content knowledge in mathematics preferred
- Interest in sponsoring or coaching extra-curricular activities preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Job Goals
- Carry out the aims and objectives of the 6th Grade Team and Math Department curriculum from introductory to advanced levels
- Provide instruction in individual, small group, and whole group settings to support all learners
- Promote excellence within the Math Department and contribute to program growth and innovation
