Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Schedular/Dispatcher to join our team in Auburn, ME. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the inspections scheduled and on track at various frequencies and assist with day-to-day operations in the inspections/service departments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate sufficient computer skills to run orders and generate monthly reports.
- Contact customers via phone and/or email to schedule inspections.
- Maintain positive and professional customer relationships.
- Work closely with administrative staff in the Service & Inspection Department, as well as with Inspectors/Technicians.
- Maintain accurate customer and/or system information in applicable databases.
- Assist the Inspection Coordinator/Billing Administrator or Inspection Manager with special projects as needed (e.g., distribution of marketing materials, filing, payroll/timekeeping backup, renewals).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
- One to two years of administrative office experience.
- Scheduling and/or dispatching experience a plus.
- Familiarity with customer account management.
- Familiarity with types of sprinkler systems and inspection time frames.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to be flexible and effectively manage scheduling changes.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to spend most of the day on the phone and computer.
- Primarily a sedentary role, with occasional movement throughout the office to copy, scan, fax, and file documents.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
