Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the shop, including scheduling, workflow, and team supervision to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Lead and motivate service technicians and mechanics to deliver outstanding repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance services
- Oversee vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across various hydraulic systems.
- Ensure high levels of customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and providing transparent explanations of repair needs and costs
- Ability to research and read schematics to accurately order parts as needed
- Maintain accurate service writing documentation and manage auto repair orders efficiently
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment and/or hydraulic diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures
- Experience working with service technicians on complex repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform accurately and efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising a team of mechanics or technicians
