What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Eastern Door and Glass, LLC?
Well established glass and glazing contractor seeking an experienced Door and Hardware Estimator knowledgable in interior hollow metal frames, interior doors and hardware. 10 years experience required. Applicant MUST have experience in construction and know the bid process. Will need to be very fluent in computer work including but not limited to online search and management functions, word, excel, proprietary on screen takeoffs, job costing, file management and other types of software. Applicant needs to be knowledgeable in submittals, RFI's and transmittals. Applicant will need to be very proficient in searching online job services to find bid opportunities. Must be self-motivated and willing to get the job done. Opportunities to work remotely MAY be available. The pay-scale listed is for experienced individuals and will be adjusted as work is procured and the job is well done. EDG offers a Simple IRA retirement plan with company match. 5 paid holidays.
