The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma is seeking an attorney with significant electronic discovery practice to join our e-Litigation Division. This announcement is used to fill immediate vacancies with multiple cut-off dates, may be used to fill other permanent appointments/vacancies.
This announcement is extended thru August 31, 2026. First cutoff March 23,2026 & as needed until position is filled/cutoff date is met.
This position is located in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 1* year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.
United States citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Desire to work as an AUSA in the Eastern District of Oklahoma, with prior violent crime prosecution and jury trial experience.

The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma is pursuing the employment of an experienced attorney with significant electronic discovery practice to fill an eLitigation Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) vacancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for: promoting standardized discovery and case-management practices; promoting use of existing eLitigation tools (e.g. Everlaw, OnCue, Evidence.com, Adobe Premier Suite), assessing the utility of new tools, and providing trainings; developing and maintaining sample forms and pleadings; liaising with other DOJ components and law enforcement entities; staying up-to-date on emerging issues and providing advice to management and other AUSAs; providing technical and strategic guidance to litigation teams on collection, review, production, and presentation of evidence; and serving as counsel on a select number of cases.Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
