Requirements
- Ability to work effectively with elementary school age children;
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff;
- Ability to take oral and written directives;
- Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position;
- NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*
- 10 month, probationary position
- Hours: 10:45 AM - 1:15 PM, Monday - Friday
- Salary Range: In accordance with the Eastchester Monitors Association (EMA) negotiated salary schedule, $18.29 - $24.23 per hour, step placement contingent upon prior relevant experience

- 305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
