Job Summary
This position will be responsible for completion of the following items in addition to those listed in the Job Description (see above)
- Greet and supervise students by enforcing safety regulations while riding the bus; assists in properly securing wheelchairs;
- Properly fasten students in seats when required; see that each student is seated and remains seated; enforce other safety.
- Load and unload students requiring assistance, including wheelchair and other mobility assisted students.
- Accurately maintain student records as necessary.
- Assist and familiarize yourself with students special health requirements; i.e., seizures.
- Possess sufficient health, including hearing and vision, and physical strength to care for an assist students, as demonstrated through biannual physical requirements screening as set forth by the District.
- Must be in good physical health, capable of lifting up to 50lbs with frequent lifting of up to 35lbs.
- Required to have a valid First Aid card including CPR and training for HIV/AIDS procedures.
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance.
- Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later).
- Completion of all district-required trainings within thirty (30) calendar days from hire date with the exception of CDL training which could go beyond thirty (30) calendar days.
Salary : $19 - $22
