Substitute Salary Schedule
Substitute BDAs are limited to working 600 hours per school year.
Position Posting:
Provide supervision and assistance to students riding the bus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Must have a valid First Aid Card.
- Must be willing and able to work patiently with and supervise special needs students.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to work well with adults and children with disabilities.
- Strength and agility to enter and exit a bus from side emergency exit.
- Must be able to work effectively with special needs children.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Must have excellent attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
