What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer Pool position at East Stroudsburg University?
East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is currently building a pool for Laborers!
Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Move furniture and supplies to and from campus offices, classrooms, residential halls, apartments, and suites.
- Assist ground crew as needed with snow removal, by shoveling snow or usage of snow blowers and spreading calcium.
- Load and unload trucks with supplies and other equipment.
- Participate in setting up tables, chairs, stages, canopies, or any other items for special events both indoors and outdoors.
- Operate motor vehicles up to 2.5 tons, forklifts, and campus vehicles. Larger equipment may be operated while being trained.
- Perform the collection of recycling materials from campus buildings.
- Deliver supplies and paper to Campus buildings.
- Shovel snow on steps/entrances and walk around assigned buildings.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Able to read, write, and comprehend English; able to follow verbal instructions.
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Teams required.
